Next Sheldon Novel on Screen: Warner Bros. and producer Joel Silver will join forces to produce “The Doomsday Conspiracy,” a contemporary suspense-thriller to be developed from author Sidney Sheldon’s upcoming novel, it was announced Thursday. Silver and Warner Bros. have worked together on “Lethal Weapon” and “Lethal Weapon 2.” The novel, currently being written by Sheldon, features a dynamic male hero. Jim and John Thomas (of “Predator” and “Predator 2”) will adapt it for the screen.
