San Diego
Police are investigating the death of a Southeast San Diego man whose body was found near his front doorstep Thursday morning.
Officers responding to a call at 7 a.m. Thursday in the 5300 block of Geneva Avenue found the body of Francisco Domingo Estrada, 27, just a few feet from the front doorstep of his home, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
“His face was covered with a sweat shirt, and it appeared that he had been dragged a short distance,” Robinson said.
Relatives had reportedly last seen Estrada five hours earlier when he left the house on an errand, Robinson said.
The cause of Estrada’s death was not known.
