A Strait Protest
To have a “critic” such as Hilburn write an article on any country artist is like letting a sheep rancher judge a cattle show.
We can’t compare Strait to Jones, Haggard or Nelson, as he hasn’t been in jail, hasn’t been a drunk and does not dress in hippie rock ‘n’ roll fashion. He doesn’t throw bras or dirty bandannas to the audience. He dresses nice, sings great and sells out all shows. You can rest assured that he is capable of selling more shows than Hilburn is of selling papers.
