The Rams and Raiders are both on television today, but it will take patience or ingenuity to view their games.

The Raiders open the home portion of what could be their final season in Los Angeles with an exhibition game against the Dallas Cowboys. KCAL Channel 9 will air the game on a four-hour delayed basis at 5 p.m.

The Rams-San Diego Chargers game will be shown live at 7 p.m., but by KGTV Channel 10 (San Diego). Viewers unable to receive that signal will have to be content with SportsChannel’s delayed broadcast at 11:30 p.m.

The Angels have the local baseball spotlight this weekend, with games against the Boston Red Sox at 10:15 a.m. today on Channel 2 and at 10 a.m. Sunday on KTLA Channel 5. There are no televised Dodger games this weekend.

Three tennis tournaments are on the airwaves as players prepare for the U.S. Open, which begins Aug. 27. Prime Ticket airs the semifinals of the Virginia Slims of Los Angeles at 7 p.m. tonight and Sunday’s finals at 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, the men are competing at the U.S. Hardcourt Championships (10 a.m. today and 1:30 p.m. Sunday on ESPN) and the Volvo International (2:30 p.m. Channels 7, 3 and 42; 1:30 p.m. Channel 10 today and 1 p.m. Sunday on Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42.) Additionally, FNN airs last Sunday’s Team Tennis Championship Match between the L.A. Strings and Raleigh Edge at 11 a.m. today and Sunday.
