LOCAL : Focus on Theft in Tustin Deaths
Investigators this afternoon plan to review daily financial receipts from the Super Shops automotive parts store here to determine whether robbery was in fact the motive behind a Sunday attack that left three young employees fatally shot at close range.
“It’s looking more and more like a robbery,” Lt. Houston Williams of the Tustin Police Department, said this morning. Investigators on Monday at first found nothing missing from the store, but later an employee directed them to a component of a safe that had been overlooked. The day’s cash may have been there.
