Bicyclist Killed in Inglewood by Hit-Run Driver
Inglewood police have asked for the public’s help in finding the driver of a Honda car who fled the scene after striking and killing a bicyclist early Saturday morning.
The bicyclist, 31-year-old Rogelio Sanchez of Inglewood, apparently died instantly when he was struck in the 3800 block of West Imperial Highway about 12:30 a.m., Sgt. Alex Perez said.
Investigators have found no witnesses to the accident, but said they found evidence indicating Sanchez was hit by a Honda automobile. The model and color of the car have not been determined, Perez said.
Anyone with information about the car or its driver is asked to call Inglewood police traffic investigator John Winters or Officer James Stuart at 412-5207.
