The Rams activated tight end Damone Johnson today, two days after he ended his 50-day holdout.

Johnson caught 25 passes for 148 yards and five touchdowns last season as a backup to Pete Holohan. He will be available for Sunday’s game at Tampa Bay.

To make room for Johnson, the Rams released tackle Jeff Mickel, a free agent from Washington.
