Police were searching Saturday for a man suspected of stabbing three other men outside a Vietnamese restaurant Friday night.

The victims, identified as Danny Cho, Hoang Do and Huan Le, all 20-year-old residents of Santa Ana, suffered stab wounds to their left sides in the 11:20 p.m. fight outside Mong An restaurant at 9950 Bolsa Ave. They were treated and later released from Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, authorities said.

Cho, Do and Le were waiting in the restaurant parking lot for friends to get off work there when the assailant approached them, police said. Police described the suspect as Vietnamese, about 19 years old, with black hair and brown eyes. He stands about 5 feet 7 and weighs 150 pounds.

Westminster Police Sgt. Mark Groh said it was not clear what provoked an argument between the men, but the disagreement turned into a fight.

The suspect pulled a weapon out and stabbed the three men. It happened so fast, Groh said, that the victims were not sure what they were wounded with--a knife or a razor, possibly. The suspect then fled in a reddish-orange Mitsubishi Impulse with a license plate beginning: 1HQ. The car was 5 to 10 years old, witnesses told police.
