GROUNDED: Ever wonder what all those planes are doing at the southwest end of John Wayne Airport, near the Corona del Mar Freeway? . . . It’s the “boneyard,” where some planes have past-due payments and others are tangled in litigation. . . . “Their tires are flat,” says an airport fireman. “One of them is a seaplane that we move with a 15-ton crane. We’ve been moving the same five or six planes around the airport for years.”
