Yes I’m Blue, a come-from-behind winner of the Aprisa Handicap at Fairplex Park last week, tries for a repeat performance Tuesday when he faces four rivals in the $51,950 Governor’s Cup Handicap at 6 1/2 furlongs.

Yes I’m Blue overhauled Valiant Pete late in the Aprisa to win going away. The gray colt crossed the wire in 1:09 2/5, missing the track mark for six furlongs by just one fifth of a second.

Don’s Irish Melody may be the one to catch in the Governor’s Cup, a race in which he finished second, beaten by a nose, last year. The veteran has dropped into the mid-to-high claiming ranks this season for trainer John Sadler.
