Los Alamitos’ Mistakes Are Costly

Share

An intercepted conversion in the final 42 seconds combined with poor first-half play and a lack of blocking by the offensive and defensive lines were costly for Los Alamitos Thursday night as St. John Bosco posted a 21-20 win at Hanford Rants Stadium.

Los Alamitos (2-2), trailed St. John Bosco, 13-0, at halftime, before scoring 20 points in the second half.

Tyler Cashman scored on nine and six-yard passes from John Collins, the latter in the final 42 seconds. Following the last touchdown, Collins attempted two game-winning points-after passes. St. John Bosco (3-2) was called for pass interference on the first attempt to Cashman that was incomplete. Collins’ second attempt was intercepted in the end zone by Jason Walker.
