Caltrans Issues Traffic Advisory on Scheduled Freeway Work

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Cerritos: Eastbound and westbound alternating lanes; Studebaker Road off-ramp and on-ramp; Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; stenciling.

2. Long Beach: Westbound No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 lanes; Cherry Avenue to Atlantic Avenue and Cherry Avenue on-ramp; today, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.; patching.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

3. Carson: Northbound No. 4 lane at 228th Street; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; bridge repair.

4. Carson/Wilmington: Northbound No. 3 and 4 lanes; Pacific Coast Highway off-ramp and on-ramp, Sepulveda Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

5. Carson: Northbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; Sepulveda Boulevard to Torrance Boulevard; Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; bridge repair.

6. San Pedro: Eastbound Terminal Island separation No. 1 lane; Channel Street to Ferry Street; Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

7. San Pedro: Eastbound Terminal Island separation ramps; Harbor Boulevard off-ramp and Vincent Thomas Bridge off-ramp; Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

8. Commerce: Southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector to the southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5), and southbound Santa Ana Freeway No. 1 lane from the Long Beach Freeway to Atlantic Boulevard; today, 6:30 a.m. to noon; jersey wall repair.

9. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; Santa Ana Freeway (5) interchange to the Los Angeles River; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

10. Montebello: Eastbound No. 4 and 5 lanes; Garfield Avenue to Paramount Boulevard, Markland Drive on-ramp, southbound Paramount Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

11. Carson: Southbound alternating lanes; Carson Street on-ramp; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; stenciling.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

12. Cerritos: Northbound No. 1 lane; South Street off-ramp; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; landscaping.

13. Cerritos/Lakewood: Southbound No. 4 lane; South Street on-ramp to Carson Street off-ramp, Del Amo Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

14. Commerce: Southbound No. 4 lane; Washington Boulevard to Garfield Avenue undercrossing; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; landscaping.

15. Downey: Northbound No. 3 lane; Florence Avenue to San Gabriel River Freeway (605); today, 6:30 a.m. to noon; bridge rail repair and mudjacking.

16. Norwalk: Southbound No. 4 lane; Orr & Day Road to Pioneer Boulevard, Imperial Highway off-ramp; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; landscaping.

17. Santa Fe Springs: Southbound No. 1 lane; San Gabriel River to San Gabriel River Freeway (605) undercrossing; today, 6:30 a.m. to noon; bridge rail repair.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)

18. Wilmington: Southbound No. 1 lane; Anaheim Street overhead to Union Pacific overhead; Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; drain closure.
