Three Riding in Back of Pickup Killed in Crash

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO —
Three young men riding in the back of a pickup truck were killed and two others were injured when the vehicle went out of control Wednesday night on Ortega Highway, a winding two-lane road that connects this city to Lake Elsinore.
The young man driving the truck, the only one of six occupants who was unhurt, was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter.
The truck went out of control about 7:30 p.m. as it headed west on Ortega, California 74.
