FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans’ Advisory on Freeway Work

Caltrans advises motorists that it plans the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations listed below are keyed to the nearest city or cities and are spotted on the map by number.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Bellflower: Westbound No. 6 lane; San Gabriel Freeway (605) to Woodruff Avenue; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; shoulder repair.

2. Cerritos: Westbound No. 1 lane; Pioneer Boulevard to Studebaker Road; Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; wall repair.

3. Long Beach: Eastbound No. 2, 3 and 4 lanes; Atlantic Avenue to Cherry Avenue, Atlantic Avenue on-ramp, Cherry Avenue off-ramp; today, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.; patching.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. Commerce: Southbound connector; southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector to southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) and southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) No. 1 lane from Long Beach Freeway (710) to Washington Boulevard; today, 6:30 a.m. to noon; wall repair.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

5. El Monte: Eastbound and Westbound alternating lanes; eastbound Pomona Freeway (60) to northbound San Gabriel Freeway (605) and southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) to westbound Pomona Freeway (60); today, 7 to 8 a.m.; surveying.

6. Montebello: Eastbound No. 1 lane; Paramount Boulevard to Rosemead Boulevard; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m; glare screen repair.

7. Various Cities: Eastbound and Westbound No. 1 lanes; Azusa Avenue to Indiana Avenue; Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m; sweeping.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

8. Long Beach: Southbound No. 2, 3 and 4 lanes; southbound San Diego Freeway (405) connector to northbound Long Beach Freeway (710), Santa Fe Avenue off-ramp, Alameda Street on-ramp; today, 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.; asphalt repair.

9. Long Beach: Northbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; at Clark Avenue; Saturday, 6 to 10:30 a.m.; bridge repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

10. Cerritos: Southbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; Alondra Boulevard to Del Amo Boulevard; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

11. Cerritos: Northbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; Del Amo Boulevard to Alondra Boulevard; Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised marker.

12. Long Beach: Southbound No. 2 and 3 lanes; Del Amo Boulevard to Orange County line; Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

13. Long Beach: Northbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; Orange County line to Del Amo Boulevard; Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)
