Suspect Arrested in Stabbing Death
A 34-year-old San Diego man was arrested at his Kearny Mesa workplace Friday on suspicion of stabbing to death a 42-year-old housewife in her East San Diego home Aug. 14.
San Diego police identified the suspect as Alfred H. Scott and the victim as Yvette McCool, who died from multiple stab wounds.
McCool’s body was found by her husband in the bedroom of the couple’s home in the 2400 block of 44th Street. Police said there were signs of forced entry into the house.
