Fresno State, unbeaten and ranked No. 24 two weeks ago, is winless in its last two games.

The Bulldogs were tied, 24-24, by Utah State in a Big West Conference game Saturday night.

They apparently were still reeling from last week’s 73-18 beating at Northern Illinois.

The tie ended two Fresno State winning streaks. The Bulldogs, 5-1-1 overall and 2-0-1 in the Big West, had won 20 consective games at home and 17 consecutive conference games.

Fresno State’s Aaron Craver, who rushed for 115 yards in 24 carries, scored on a one-yard run with 10:59 left to give the Bulldogs a 24-21 lead.

But the Aggies (1-3-1, 1-0-1) came back as Doug Beech kicked a 20-yard field goal with 2:26 left. It came after Steve Neeleman intercepted a pass by Mark Barsotti at the Fresno State 36.
