Hopelessly Devoted: Olivia Newton-John will make her drama television debut in a holiday fairy tale for NBC, which will also mark her return to acting after a 7-year hiatus. The working title of the two-hour movie, which has begun filming in Cincinnati for Steve White Productions in association with Walt Disney Television, is “A Mom for Christmas.” Newton-John plays a department store mannequin that comes to life. Although the movie is Newton-John’s first for television, she’s been seen on the big screen in “Grease” and “Xanadu.”
