Montclair Prep 42, L.A. Baptist 0--Taking advantage of eight L. A. Baptist turnovers, Montclair Prep routed the Knights (0-8, 0-3) in an Alpha League game at Monroe High.
The Mounties (5-3, 3-0) were led by Eliel Swinton, who had touchdown runs of 46, 49 and 26 yards. Swinton finished with 238 yards in 18 carries.
Greg Cole’s two interceptions and two fumble recoveries--one for a touchdown--helped preserve the shutout.
