Two more suspected gang members were arrested Tuesday, bringing to four the number of suspects jailed in the shooting death of a Navy seaman who challenged graffiti-writing gang members, authorities said.

Alexander Albert Jacinto, 20, and a 16-year-old boy whose name was withheld, were booked on suspicion of murder at the Carson sheriff’s station about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Deputy Rafael Estrada said. Their hometowns were not disclosed.

Real Sabio Tojot, 19, and Ronald Caasi Caampued, 18, both of Carson, were arrested Monday on suspicion of murder and also held without bail. A .38-caliber pistol believed to be the murder weapon was confiscated.

The victim, Alfred Kuhia Jr., 21, of Buena Park was a seaman aboard the USS Fort Fisher based in San Diego. He and two friends saw about a dozen gang members painting slogans on a wall in Carson Friday. When Kuhia told them to stop, one gang member shot him.
