Seldon Stops Bey to Stay Unbeaten
Atlantic City heavyweight Bruce Seldon stopped David Bey of Philadelphia in the 10th round Thursday night at the Taj Mahal Hotel Casino.
Bey turned toward his corner after absorbing a combination punctuated by a right to the nose and he quit. Ringside physicians confirmed that Bey sustained a severe nose fracture.
Seldon, 16-0 with 13 knockouts, had controlled the pace behind a quick jab and bursts of combinations. It was the third time that Bey, 19-7, had been knocked out.
