South Carolina Dominated by Florida State
Sophomore tailback Amp Lee scored three touchdowns and rushed for 94 yards Saturday as No. 12 Florida State handed South Carolina its third consecutive loss, 41-10.
Lee, Florida State’s leading rusher this season with 554 yards, scored touchdowns on the Seminoles’ first possessions of the first, second and third quarters.
Florida State (6-2) dominated South Carolina (4-4), sacking quarterback Bobby Fuller seven times and intercepting two passes.
The Gamecocks crossed midfield once in the first half and twice in the second.
Lee’s first touchdown came on a five-yard run off right guard on the Seminoles’ first possession of the game. His second was an 11-yard sweep around left end on the first series of the second quarter. His final touchdown came on a 13-yard burst off left guard early in the third quarter.
