Tarpley to Miss Rest of Season
Forward Roy Tarpley will miss the rest of the Dallas Mavericks’ season after ligament damage was discovered in his right knee Tuesday.
The damage was found during arthroscopic surgery. Tarpley averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds in five games and was shooting 54% before he was injured during Friday’s victory overOrlando.
An arthroscopy also was performed on the right knee of Maverick guard Fat Lever. He is expected to be sidelined from four to six weeks.
