Newman’s Own Camp: Paul Newman will provide the initial funding for a British summer camp for children with cancer, a charity official said Monday. The project would cost up to $15.5 million and Newman will provide a large undisclosed cash sum through his gourmet food company, Newman’s Own Foods, which gives all profits to charity. In the United States, Newman has established a similar camp at Ashford, Conn. The camp is called the Hole-in-the-Wall Gang, named after a gang of outlaws from “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” in which Newman starred with Robert Redford.
