Bowling Green Picks Blackney

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio —
Ohio State assistant football Coach Gary Blackney was appointed head coach at Bowling Green today.
Blackney replaces Moe Ankney, who was fired Nov. 11 after compiling a 20-31-3 record in five years at the Mid-American Conference school, including a 3-5-2 mark this season.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
