A New Look: The Doubletree Hotel in Orange is getting a face-lift.
Each of the bathrooms in the 461-room hotel will be renovated at a cost of $620,000. And starting in February, the next phase of the project will revamp the hotel’s junior and grand ballrooms at a cost of $1.3 million.
Michelle Manire, the hotel’s general manager, promises that guests won’t have to listen to the pounding of hammers and screech of buzz saws.
“Careful scheduling ensures our guests won’t even be aware that the work is being done,” she said.
