Police continued to search Sunday for a 14-month-old girl who disappeared from her home in Golden Hill.

“Both detectives and uniformed officers are scouring the area again to see if we might have missed something,” said Bill Robinson, a police spokesman. “We will check out every possible sighting.”

Crystal Anzaldi, a brown-haired, 30-pound toddler, was reported missing just before 9 a.m. Saturday, when her parents, Jeff and Dorothy Anzaldi, awoke and found her gone. The tiny girl, who is able to walk, was last seen wearing nothing but a diaper.

Robinson said police spent much of Sunday knocking on doors and fielding calls from the public at a mobile command post parked positioned at Grape Street Park. Chuck Peck.

Anyone with information about the child is asked to contact police at 531-2000.
