One woman was killed and three motorists were injured when two cars collided at a Reseda intersection, Los Angeles police said today.
Florida Rivera, 50, of Canoga Park was killed about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when the car in which she was a passenger was struck head-on by a car that turned in front of it on Saticoy Street at Tampa Avenue, police said.
Dagoberto Barrera, 31, of Canoga Park was driving westbound on Saticoy with Rivera when an eastbound car driven by Patricia Aguado, 19, of North Hollywood turned in front of them, police said.
Barrera, Aguado and her passenger, Latanya Davis, 26, of North Hollywood, suffered minor injuries in the collision. Rivera died at the scene of the accident.
Police said Aguado was at fault in the accident but was not cited as an investigation was continuing.
