Greene’s Sack Total Is Back on Track

Linebacker Kevin Greene, a training camp holdout, has eight sacks in the past six games after getting only three in the first seven games.

Greene had 16 1/2 sacks in each of the last two seasons, and the total of 33 was more than any other player during that span. He could get 50 over three seasons, a feat that only the Philadelphia Eagles’ Reggie White has achieved in recent years. From 1986 to 1988, White had 57 sacks.
