From Times Staff and Wire Reports

A search for the bodies of three of the four Navy men killed in a helicopter crash 700 miles off Guam has been called off, Navy officials said. The dead were identified as Lt. Daniel Hull, 31; Lt. James Love, 31; Petty Officer 2nd Class Andrew Cady, 25, and Petty Officer 2nd Class Troy Josiah, 25, according to Navy spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Jeff Smallwood. Their hometowns were unavailable. The UH-1N Huey helicopter, based on the Tripoli, crashed into the ocean early Wednesday while on a nighttime training mission. The body of one crewman was found, along with debris from the chopper, Smallwood said. The Tripoli was among 13 warships that left from San Diego and Long Beach two weeks ago bound for the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Desert Shield.
