Dances With E!: E! Entertainment Television named Kevin Costner its first annual celebrity-of-the-year last week. The cable channel chose Costner based on his contribution to society and his impact on the entertainment industry, a spokesman said. Costner, who directed and stars in “Dances With Wolves,” was selected by programming executives at E! who referred to nominations made by viewers.
