GIRLS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Rancho Alamitos Defeats Santiago to Stay Unbeaten
Marlene Rodriguez and Timerie James scored 10 points each to lead undefeated Rancho Alamitos High School to its 14th consecutive girls’ basketball victory, a 63-32 victory Wednesday night over visiting Santiago.
The victory was Rancho Alamitos’ fourth in Garden Grove League play this season.
America Robledo led Santiago with 12 points.
In other Garden Grove League games:
Pacifica 53, Los Amigos 49--Nadine Alliman scored 15 points and Erin Asari scored 10 to lead host Pacifica (4-6, 2-2).
Kennedy 62, La Quinta 44--Valerie Ruiz scored 35 points for host Kennedy (13-4, 3-1).
