WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Bakos’ 17 Points Lead SCC Past Cal Lutheran

Suzanne Bakos had 17 points--including 14 in the second half--for Southern California College in a 62-50 nonconference women’s basketball victory over Cal Lutheran Thursday at SCC.

Jennifer Tucker added nine points and Lori Halliday had eight for the Vanguards (7-8).

In another nonconference game:

Grand Canyon 82, Chapman 78--Despite 28 points and 11 rebounds from Jackie Saunders, the Panthers (8-7) lost in Phoenix.

Shannon Mustin had 20 points and 13 rebounds and Shery Lou Tieman had 19 points for Grand Canyon (7-6).
