The Minnesota Twins signed free-agent third baseman Mike Pagliarulo to a one-year, $600,000 contract to fill the vacancy left by the departure of Gary Gaetti.
Pagliarulo, 30, hit .254 in 128 games with the San Diego Padres last season. He had seven home runs and 38 runs batted in.
