The knock against Brett Hull the last two seasons has been that he doesn’t assist on many goals.

But as the St. Louis Blues moved into first place in the Norris Division with a 4-2 victory Tuesday night at Edmonton, Hull assisted on two goals.

First, he scored his league-leading 59th goal, then set up two of the next three as the Blues went ahead for good in the last second of the second period. Geoff Courtnall scored twice for the Blues, who have 75 points to 74 for Chicago.
