Corchiani Is NCAA Career Assist Leader

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. —
Chris Corchiani became the NCAA’s career assist leader in North Carolina State’s 90-82 nonconference victory over Tennessee Monday night.
Corchiani passed to Kevin Thompson early in the game for his 961st assist, breaking the record of Sherman Douglas of Syracuse.
Rodney Monroe scored 31 points for North Carolina State (17-8). Carlus Groves scored 20 points for Tennessee (9-19).
