Scott Leads 49ers to 91-73 Victory Over Pacific Women
Freshman Danielle Scott had 13 points and 17 rebounds in her second start to lead No. 23 Cal State Long Beach to a 91-73 Big West Conference women’s basketball victory over Pacific Monday night at Stockton.
The 49ers (19-7, 14-3) won their 11th consecutive game and moved ahead of Nevada Las Vegas into sole possession of the Big West lead.
Penny Moore scored 17 points, Vjera Kaludjerovich added 16 and Trise Jackson had 14 for Long Beach.
Dana Wilkerson had 10 assists, giving her 522 in her career at Long Beach to break the 49er record of 512 set two years ago.
Charlene Alden had 26 points and 11 rebounds, Charlotte Soeeberg added 14 points and Charmon Logan scored 10 for Pacific (15-10, 10-6).
