Police Seek Suspects in Fatal Beating of Pacoima Man, 28
Los Angeles police on Saturday were searching for suspects in the beating death of a Pacoima man who was attacked as he was leaving a liquor store.
Juan Antonio Monge, 28, was approached around midnight by at least two men as he exited a liquor store at Glenoaks Boulevard and Paxton Street, said Sgt. Jay Frey.
He was struck several times with a blunt instrument, Frey said.
Friends who attempted to help Monge took him to his residence, where he died around 1:10 a.m., Frey said.
Police said they had not determined a motive for the attack.
