Hammer Hurts ‘Em Again: Rapper M. C. Hammer was honored Saturday night as musician of 1990 and the artist with the year’s outstanding album, “Please Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em,” at the 14th annual Bay Area Music Awards. The neo-metal band Faith No More received five “Bammies,” decided by readers of BAM, a pop-music magazine published in Oakland.
