Big Stripers Landed at Silverwood Lake

Largemouth bass might be coming into season, but larger striped bass are in season at Silverwood Lake in San Bernardino County.
Consider the catches of Lancaster’s Allan Cole: a 33-pound striper last Tuesday and 26, 24 1/4, and 22-pounders in the last two weeks. Cole’s son Eric had two 21-pounders, and Eric’s friend Mike Ahrets took a 30 1/2-pounder on his first time trying for the fish.
