CS Bakersfield Loses in Overtime

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. —
Lambert Shell’s scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, helping Bridgeport rally from a 16-point second half deficit to defeat Cal State Bakersfield, 73-66, in overtime in the semifinals of the NCAA Division II tournament Friday night.
Bridgeport (26-7) will second-ranked North Alabama (28-4), which beat Virginia Union, 97-76, in today’s championship game.
Kenny Warren led Bakersfield (25-8) with 16 points.
