Man Dies in Fall From Bridge; Suspect Held
A man plunged to his death Tuesday night, apparently after being pushed off a bridge in the City of Industry, and a suspect was held for questioning, authorities said.
Details were sketchy, but the victim fell into a flood control channel at Turnbull Canyon Road a quarter-mile north of Gale Avenue about 9:45 p.m. The unidentified man was dead at the scene, Deputy Bill Linnemeyer said.
A man was being detained for questioning. Linnemeyer said the fall might have been accidental, but “homicide detectives are out there and at this point, it’s a homicide.”
