BUENA PARK : Relationships With Parents to Be Topic
The Centralia School District will present a special program on parent-child relationships from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Walter Knott Elementary School, 7300 La Palma Ave.
Bob Burns, who has a Ph.D. in education, will address topics including childhood behavior, discouraging children from using drugs and keeping track of school performance.
The program is sponsored by the district’s Counseling Services division. Interpreters will be available in Spanish, Korean and for the hearing impaired. Child care will also be available.
