Knaub Wins in Record Time
BOSTON —
Jim Knaub of Long Beach broke his American record in winning the wheelchair portion of Monday’s Boston Marathon.
Knaub’s time of 1 hour 30 minutes 44 seconds bettered his record of 1:31:15, set last year.
In the women’s wheelchair race, Jean Driscoll of Champaign, Ill., broke her world record by 35 seconds with a time of 1:42:42.
