Moderate Quake Rattles Area Near Grand Canyon

PHOENIX —
A moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 hit near the Grand Canyon on Saturday, rattling some rural communities but causing no injuries or damage, officials said. An earlier quake Friday, with a magnitude of 3.4, struck about 12 miles north of Paragonah in southern Utah.
