Trojans Advance to Volleyball Final

The top-ranked and defending national champion USC men’s volleyball team is one victory away from another championship after defeating Indiana Purdue-Ft. Wayne, 15-8, 15-8, 12-15, 15-3, Friday night in the semifinals of the NCAA final four at Honolulu.
USC (27-1), which is led by senior Bryan Ivie--the national player of the year in 1990 and 1991--will play either No. 2 Cal State Long Beach or No. 3 Penn State in tonight’s championship match, which will start at 10:30 p.m., PDT. Long Beach and Penn State played in Friday night’s late game.
