Ten graduating seniors from Orange County high schools will be honored at the second annual Orange County Centennial Scholarship Awards today.

The scholarships were established in 1989 at the county centennial celebration for graduating seniors from private or public high schools in the county. Students attending universities will receive $2,500, while vocational students will receive $500.

Contributions by sponsors of the centennial celebration created the Centennial Scholarship Fund, which was transferred to the Orange County Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization, in September, 1990.

The recipients will be awarded the scholarships at 5 p.m. today in the lobby of The Times building in Costa Mesa. The students, with the colleges they plan to attend in parentheses, are:

Blake Alban, Marina High School, Huntington Beach (Stanford); Steven Miller, Fullerton High School (Stanford); Winston Chang, University High School, Irvine (USC); Hien-Hanh P. Do, Santiago High School, Irvine (UCLA); Christine Garrity, Pacifica High School, Garden Grove (Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach); Matt Guss, Laguna Beach High School (Harvard); Hieu T.
