Share

Ten graduating seniors from Orange County high schools will be honored at the second annual Orange County Centennial Scholarship Awards today.

The scholarships were established in 1989 at the county centennial celebration for graduating seniors from private or public high schools in the county. Students attending universities will receive $2,500, while vocational students will receive $500.

Contributions by sponsors of the centennial celebration created the Centennial Scholarship Fund, which was transferred to the Orange County Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization, in September, 1990.
