Dr. Frank Jobe, the Dodgers’ team physician, said Orel Hershiser’s minor league outings offer strong indications that surgery on the pitcher’s right shoulder worked. “I think it’s a success,” Jobe said. “He’s got 100% range of motion back and he’s throwing the ball like he used to without any discomfort or pain.”
