A woman riding a motorcycle suffered severe head injuries during a weekly cruise night on Saviers Road in Oxnard, police said Monday.

Medina, 25, told police that he took his eyes off the road to turn and speak to his wife then hit a car that was stopped ahead of him, police said.

Medina and Robalcava, who were not wearing helmets, were ejected from the motorcycle, police said.

Medina suffered numerous scrapes and was listed Monday in good condition at St. John’s Regional Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said. No arrests were made pending the results of an investigation, police said.
