Left-handed reliever Floyd Bannister was placed on the disabled list immediately after the game with tendinitis in his throwing shoulder. Cliff Young of triple-A Edmonton will replace him on the roster. Bannister has an earned-run average of 1.69 in 16 innings. . . .
