Winners Win on Simulcasts, Losers Get Refunds at Los Al
The Peninsula Quarter Horse Racing Assn. has announced it will honor winning tickets and refund losing tickets from races three through nine of Wednesday’s Los Alamitos simulcasts from Bay Meadows quarter horse races.
Because bets had been placed on the entire card throughout the day and during the first two races, quarter horse officials decided to refund the losing tickets and honor winners.
After Wednesday’s first race, it took 25 minutes to post the first-race prices. There was a 20-minute delay after the second race.
